Remember Project 1A - the KoolAid stain? A little surfing gave me a simple, cost-free solution:
Dampen the stain with water, then cover with a layer of plain ol' table salt. Let set for a few minutes, then vacuum up. Repeat as necessary. After two treatments, we are stain-free without using toxic or expensive chemical processes.
